GMAT in the Queen City

It’s been a while since I’ve ventured over to my blog but I have a good excuse, GMAT prep classes!
Exciting, I know. Although, I must say, my instructor was overly enthusiastic about the topic and that made the class less dreadful.

If anyone is interested in taking any type of test prep at UNCC , make sure it’s with Steven Shoots, he’ll make it worth the $999.
Well, I haven’t taken the exam yet so we’ll see.

The last time I posted was right before the Miracle on the Hudson . Since then, there have been several crashes, one of them commercial last Thursday. After reading Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell I’m even more disturbed by flying. Read the book, it’s awesome for more reasons than what it takes to crash an airplane.

In other news, I’m trying to get promoted. There’s this amazing job that has opened up that I’m drooling over. I’ve had five interviews for it and now I’m waiting for a decision. Last I’ve heard it’s between me and another candidate. I’m going to go ahead and set myself up for disappointment but stay optimistic.
